Fasting during ramadan for a non muslic
As-salamu alaykum to all my Muslim friends eid mubarak! As some of you guys may know last month I set out on a journey of self discovery, a work colleague of mine was fasting for ramadan, even though I'm not particularly religious myself I decided I would join her in the month of ramandan and fast. This would be my first time actually fasting and in solidarity we usually all fast the last day of the month to show our support. I went a step further and decided to fast for the whole month. The beginning week of ramadan was tough, I had people asking me why I would do such a thing if I wasn't a Muslim or saying it was stupid; this only made me more determined to carry on, not just to see how I felt at the end of ramadan, but to show people "hey i can do this" you may not think I can but I want to prove you wrong, I want you to concentrate on your own life instead telling me I can't or I shouldn't.
